Friendly, highly competent staff got us deep into the boundary waters and dropped off to a portage where we were able to access parts of the BWCA that would have taken us days to reach otherwise. These guys know this labyrinth of waterways so well it's astonishing. Definitely plan on going back.
Everyone was so helpful and friendly. It was our first time in the BWCA and they took the time to answer all of our questions! We took the shuttle to Lac La Croix, saw no other people for the first 2 days. They outfitted us completely and nothing was overlooked. Thank you so much for a wonderful time! A can't say enough good things about Anderson Outfitters. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable on all things boundary waters. The Kevlar canoes we rented where in great shape and the outfitter shop had everything one might need. This family run business impressed me a lot. The location might be a bit further north than other outfitters, but the remoteness of this area of the bwca is incredible
